2. What this is about

print.pixify.ch presents our print shop. Orders are not placed here but in the online shop pixifyprint.ch; its own privacy policy applies to orders. The pages here are static HTML, with no customer account, no login and no database. Personal data only arises where you send us something yourself – via the enquiry form or the assistant – and in the server’s technical logs. If you allow “Advertising” in the cookie box, the advertising pixels of Meta and TikTok are added (section 6).

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus; the servers are located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany (EU). When a page is accessed, the server logs technical access data – the page requested, the time, the browser type and the IP address – to keep the service running and to detect attacks. We do not analyse this data to identify you personally.

4. Enquiry form and print files

If you write to us using the form, you send us your name, email address, a description of your project and – if provided – your phone number and a file (max. 10 MB). The data is transmitted in encrypted form to our own platform pixify-ai.ch (same operator). There, the enquiry is recorded with the time and IP address in an incoming log so that no enquiry gets lost, and forwarded by email to info@pixify.ch. The IP address is used to prevent misuse: the form does not accept more than five enquiries per hour from the same address.

An attached file is checked for its content and stored outside the publicly accessible area of the server, under a name we assign; there is no address at which it could be retrieved.

We use this information exclusively to answer your enquiry and do not pass it on – except as a report to Meta if you have allowed “Advertising” (section 6). We delete it once it is no longer needed for this purpose and there is no statutory retention obligation.

5. The assistant

At the bottom right, an assistant answers questions about our print shop. Whatever you type there is sent to our platform pixify-ai.ch and from there to the AI interface of Anthropic (USA), which writes the answer. We store the question with the date, language and page – without an IP address and without a cookie – to see what visitors want to know. To curb misuse, the server briefly counts how many questions come from one address. Please do not enter any personal data in the assistant; it has no access to customer data.

6. Cookies, visitor counting and your settings

Advertising cookies and the advertising pixels of Meta and TikTok are only used on this website if you allow “Advertising” in the cookie box. Without this consent, the page loads nothing from Meta or TikTok. It does not set tracking cookies from any other provider.

Visitor counting without cookies. When a page is accessed, a tiny image is loaded from the counting endpoint of our platform pixify-ai.ch. The only thing stored is that the page was accessed once more on that day – no IP address, no cookie, no profile. With the “Statistics” switch in the cookie box you can turn the counting off; the image is then not loaded at all. Counting is on unless you decline it.

External content. The box also offers a switch for embedded videos and posts from third-party providers. At present, print.pixify.ch does not embed any such content; the switch therefore has no effect.

Advertising (Meta pixel). With your consent, the page loads the pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland), the operator of Facebook and Instagram. The script comes from our platform pixify-ai.ch. The pixel tells Meta which pages you view and what you do there – for example whether you call us, write to us on WhatsApp or send an enquiry – together with technical data such as your IP address and browser identifier. For this it sets the cookies “_fbp” and, if you arrive via an ad, “_fbc” (90 days each). If you send an enquiry, our platform also reports it directly to Meta (Conversions API): your email address and phone number only as a checksum (SHA-256), plus IP address, browser identifier, the two cookies and the page address – never your name and never your message. We use this to see which ads work and to show ads to people who know our pages. Meta may link this data to your account and transfer it to the USA; Meta’s privacy policy applies (facebook.com/privacy/policy). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie button at the bottom left; the pixel will then no longer load.

Advertising (TikTok pixel). With the same consent, the page also loads the pixel of TikTok Technology Limited (Dublin, Ireland). This script also comes from our platform pixify-ai.ch. The pixel tells TikTok which pages you view and whether you call us, write to us on WhatsApp or send an enquiry, together with technical data such as your IP address and browser identifier. We do not pass your name, your contact details or your message to TikTok. For this it sets the cookies “_ttp” and “ttcsid” and, if you arrive via an ad, “ttclid” (up to 13 months each). We use this to see which ads work on TikTok. TikTok may link this data to your account and transfer it to countries outside Europe, including countries without adequate data protection such as China; TikTok’s privacy policy applies (tiktok.com/legal/page/eea/privacy-policy). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie button at the bottom left; the pixel will then no longer load.

Google ads. For ads on Google, no Google script and no Google cookie run on this website. If you arrive via an ad, the page address carries campaign parameters such as “utm_source” or “gclid”; like any address, they appear in the server log (section 3) and are not sent to Google. Google counts the clicks on its ads itself.

What your browser remembers. Your browser stores your choice in the cookie box in its local storage (entry “pxaConsent”, for one year). If you close the notice suggesting another language with “No, thanks”, it remembers that too (entry “pixifySprTipp”). The conversation with the assistant is kept in session storage only until you close the tab. None of this leaves your device. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie button at the bottom left or here: Open cookie settings.

Fonts. This website does not load any fonts from third-party servers; it displays your device’s own font.

7. Links to other sites

The online shop is at pixifyprint.ch, appointment booking at termin.pixify.ch, and our websites at web.pixify.ch and pixify-ai.ch. If you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that site applies there.

8. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell any data. The only parties involved are Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus as hosting provider (section 3), Anthropic for the assistant’s answers (section 5) and – only with your consent – Meta and TikTok for advertising (section 6).

9. Your rights

You can request information about the data processed about you, its correction or deletion, and you can object to its processing. An informal message to info@pixify.ch is sufficient. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

10. Changes

We update this policy when something changes on the website. The version published here applies.
